“Sole to Soul” Introduction

"Sole to Soul" was first established in 2011 under "Li Ka Shing Foundation (LKSF)" as one of the award-winning projects of the "Love Ideas, Love HK". Even after the cease of grant from LKSF, our volunteer services are still uninterrupted with a group of enthusiastic and passionate volunteers. Our gratuitous services propagate in schools, kindergartens as well as social welfare organizations. Our mission and flagship volunteer services are so well-received that attracted a number of media interviews throughout these years. In 2013, “Sole to Soul” officially becomes a legal charity in Hong Kong and will continue to serve for the general public.

Mission

Love your Parents, Family and Respect for the Elderly.

Activity

“Sole to Soul” encourages the whole family members to participate and get involved in our activities. Our volunteers first employ story-telling approaches and ice-breaking games to guide each family member to open their hearts to chat frankly and to speak out among each. The aim is to enhance the mutual understanding and trust between the parents and the children. Then, under the guidance of volunteer mentors, the children participants will personally perform foot massage to their parents to soothe their parents’ tiredness and weariness.
